Beachwood Resort

We had a great long weekend with our teen and old dog who got to chase sandpipers. The owners were helpful and let us check in early. We were concerned about some reviews regarding pet fees, so called to clarify charges ahead of time, which were accurate on our final billing. A nice clubhouse with pool and darts and toys. Our unit had some quirks but nothing that detracted from a lovely stay. Due to location out of town, cell and internet spotty if you need to work. The trail and beach were awesome-don't let other reviews worry you. If you are up for a short walk the setting is perfect. Beautiful stars at night on low tide!

We stayed for a week, it was awesome! Very nice people, nice cabins, beautiful location. Great amenities, and they're installing more! We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, they're installing a new sauna, they have a pool table! We really enjoyed playing pool, and hanging out in the recreation room. It was an awesome vacation, we look forward to going back next year!

Had a multi family Thanksgiving that was wonderful. The club house was a perfect spot for gathering and enjoying conversation and time together. Had multiple rooms with each having an oven and kitchen, it worked to cook or warm up all the food and then store it till we left. New managers are great and have young energy working to refresh the whole resort.

The rooms are quaint and the area is near the beach but not directly on it, atmosphere is private and plenty of space for dogs, fire pits, or any relaxing activity you're into. It's a bit isolated, which is great if you're trying to get away from busy city life. We saw the stars at night, which says a lot. Hot tub, sauna, and plenty of amenities. Pool was drained while we stayed, but it's a sizeable one. Location is on well water and septic tanks, if that matters to you.

What a lovely beach getaway! The front office lady was very kind upon our arrival and our room felt very homey and comfortable. Also clean! The kitchen had all the amenities you need to cook. The room had an electric fireplace which was so cozy. Super close walk to the private beach and great opportunity to go clamming without the busyness of the public beaches. Would come again and again!!

We didn't have great expectations and were just looking for a new years eve place to enjoy the beach with the Beast (Choc LAB). Room was nice and clean and near the beach. Easy check in and a few rules for the dog of course but nothing not doable. Would recommenced for anyone with a dog.

A great place for a weekend getaway! Spent the weekend here to get away from the city and it was a fantastic experience. The units were well furnished and clean, and the amenities were awesome. Sadly i forgot to bring a swimsuit so I didn’t get to use the hot tub but I did get to enjoy the sauna which while kinda small was great for a single person. Also got to play a couple of games of pool that was an unexpected treat. The view from their tower room is also pretty great kinda weird to put exercise equipment up there in my opinion but it doesn’t make the view any worse. The property mangers were also awesome we got a small tour around by Eva which was great since we showed up pretty late and weren’t expecting it and Krist helped us get our WiFi working which I sadly needed since Verizon doesn’t have signal out there but that just makes it better for a spot to disconnect for a few days. They have a huge selection of movies and tv shows to borrow since streaming doesn’t work great which is a fantastic compromise.they also have wild rabbits on the property which are pretty desensitized to people and while I don’t recommend petting wild animals I do know they are very fluffy. Stayed here for two nights with my two large dogs. They have beach access and it was a great weekend for us. Be aware, if you are looking for a 5 star experience with room service and a spa, this is not the place. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and they have enough ammenities to keep the family entertained, including a pool, hot tub, pool table and games. We had a relaxing and pleasant stay.

What an amazing getaway for our anniversary! This property is ran by the nicest couple, who clearly invest 100% of their lives running this beautiful place together! We were greeted with warm smiles, offered plentiful snacks to stock our full kitchen, and were given a brief introduction to the resort. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to our room. It was clean, and instantly felt so homey! We instantly settled in, and started exploring the area. Our entire stay was perfect, we cannot wait to bring our 3 kiddos to this place. The pool is awesome, it has a cute little playground, horseshoes, a workout center, a clubhouse, and the beach is a quick 5 minute walk away for all day entertainment. I regret not getting the owners names, I cannot stress enough how lovely they are!

We had a wonderful stay at Beachwood Condominium. The place has a very homely feel, with a full kitchen that made things convenient. The beach was easily accessible through beautiful grassy sand dunes. There’s a small canal with a wooden bridge that could use some repair, though it didn’t feel unsafe. We heard they are planning to add a skybridge, which will be a nice upgrade in the future. The owners are super friendly, and while some parts of the property could use improvements, it didn’t bother us. Don’t expect picture-perfect luxury—it’s more casual, with a 1990s-style vibe, but very comfortable. We enjoyed all the facilities—pools, clubhouse, hot tub, and snooker. We also loved having a pit fire to cook our dinner. This was our second stay here, and we fully recommend it for families with kids.
